Grace Karger

From the age of nine, Grace Karger has received ballet training from former professional dancers Luis Abella and Zoica Garcia at Abella’s School of Dance in St. Augustine, Florida.  This is Grace’s eighth season performing with the Saint Augustine Ballet under the direction of Artistic Director, Luis Abella.  In December, she will debut in the role of Sugar Plum Fairy in their tenth-anniversary production of “The Nutcracker”.  Her past roles include Dew Drop, Snow Queen, Arabian and Mirliton in “The Nutcracker”; Tiger Lily in “The Ballet of Peter Pan”; and Caterpillar in “Alice in Wonderland”.‚Äč

Devin Mantei 

Devin began her training at age 8 at Abella’s School of Dance where she currently dances in the Pre-Professional division.  As a senior at St. Augustine High School, she is proficient in ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, tap, jazz, hip hop, character, and Latin ballroom. She danced for the St. Johns County Center for the Arts for five years. Devin has been a company member with the St. Augustine Ballet since 2011.  She has danced featured roles such as Dorothy in Wizard of OZ, Tiger Lily in Peter Pan, Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, Snow Queen and the Arabian Pas De Deux in the Nutcracker. She has assisted the choreographer in Nutcracker and Alice in Wonderland, teaching choreography to young dancers. Currently, she is teaching 5-7 year old tap and jazz. 

Ella Wimpelberg

Ella began dancing at the age of three with Miss Sally Walton.  Currently, she is a student at Abella’s School of Dance where she has studied ballet for nine years.  She has preformed various roles locally with the Saint Augustine Ballet.  Her past performances have include Peter and the Wolf,  A Midsummers Night ’s Dream, Peter Pan and the lead role of Alice in Alice in Wonderland.  This December she will perform for the 9th year in Saint Augustine Ballet’s, The Nutcracker.  

Eléa Woodward 

Eléa began studying classical ballet at age 8 at Abella’s School of Dance with Luis Abella. She has been performing in the St. Augustine Ballet since 2011. Her favorite roles include Clara, Dew Drop and Chinese lead in the St. Augustine Ballet’s annual Nutcracker and Alice in Alice and Wonderland also with the St. Augustine Ballet. Eléa has studied with Stage International de Danse d’Angers, Paris Marais School Summer Intensive, and the Stage International de Danse d’Arcachon.  

She has had the opportunity to work with Clairemarie Osta, an Etoile at the Paris Opéra Ballet, Bernard Boucher, a retired Etoile of the Paris Opéra Ballet, Yasmine Piletta, a professor at the Paris Opéra Ballet, Maggie Boogaart, a certified Martha Graham instructor, Ghislain de Compreignac, a former soloist of the Ballet du Nord, Charles Jude, former Etoile of the Paris Opéra Ballet and Director of the Ballet de l’Opéra de Bordeaux, Joseph Gatti, Director and Founder of the United Ballet Theatre, Cyril Atanassoff, former Etoile of the Paris Opéra Ballet, professor at the Paris Opéra Ballet and student of Maurice Béjart, Monique Loudières, retired Etoile of the Paris Opéra Ballet, Elisabeth Platel, former Etoile and Director of the Paris Opéra Ballet School, and Orlando Molina, an ABT certified instructor and Director of Orlando Molina Ballet Training Center, and Ms. Zoica Garcia at Abella's School of Dance.
